FAQ's

Studio F.A.Q.s

The Artistry & Process

What materials are used in your work? Our limited editions are high-quality Giclée reproductions printed on museum-grade, archival canvas. Every piece returns to the easel to be hand-embellished with professional oil pigments and heavy-body mediums. This process ensures vibrant color, physical texture, and a lifespan that allows the work to be passed down through generations.

Are the works ready to hang? Yes. Whether you choose a framed or unframed canvas, your artwork arrives fully assembled with professional hanging hardware included. It is our goal that your new acquisition is ready to be enjoyed the moment it enters your home.

Why might the colors look slightly different than they do on my screen? While we strive for absolute color accuracy, every digital screen renders light and "temperature" differently. Furthermore, because April hand-applies oil paint to every edition, subtle variations in texture are a hallmark of the artist's hand, ensuring your piece is a unique studio artifact.

The Collector’s Timeline

How long will it take for my artwork to arrive? Because each piece is individually hand-painted to order, we follow a deliberate, "Slow Art" timeline to ensure the integrity of the work.

The Studio Timeline: Please allow 3–4 weeks for the creation and hand-embellishing of your piece.

The Curing Period: Once completed, your canvas requires 2 weeks to cure in the studio. This ensures the oil pigments are fully stable before the work is safely packaged.

Notification: You will receive a personal notification the moment your work has cleared inspection and is prepared for shipment.

Do you offer complimentary shipping? Yes. We are pleased to offer Complimentary Insured Shipping on all domestic orders within the continental United States. We believe the acquisition process should be seamless, with no hidden fees at checkout.
