Beige Oyster 2 Hand-Embellished Limited Edition
Beige Oyster 2 serves as an exploration of equilibrium, capturing the moment an organic form finds its final resting place in the sand. While the first in the series introduced the fluid motion of the shell, this composition emphasizes the interplay between negative space and the soft, weathered edges of the oyster’s silhouette. It is inspired by the concept of "stillness in nature," using a muted, earthy palette to suggest a sense of timelessness and the gentle erosion caused by the tides.
*Combine two or three pieces from the same series for a dramatic visual impact.

The Artist’s Hand & Process
A hand-embellished giclée is a soulful bridge between a reproduction and an original work of art. Each piece begins as a bespoke collaboration between the collector and the studio. Once your selection is made, April brings the canvas to her easel to begin the layering process. Using the same professional-grade oils and sculptural palette knife techniques found in her originals, she hand-applies physical texture and light directly to the surface. To ensure the lasting value of your acquisition, each piece is titled, dated, and hand-signed by April on the reverse. This meticulous process ensures the "tactile energy" of the work is preserved, making your specific edition a one-of-a-kind artifact.
